Teaching at Vilnius Academy of Arts

I have been pleased to be invited to teach some of my product design principles at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. After some planing workshop took place last autumn in the beginning of November. The length of the workshop was one working week and task was to define concept and visualize it with rough 3D models and prototypes.

This was truly a rewarding experience. It was real nice to see how students get creative sparkle during start of the workshop then develop it into more feasible and relevant ideas for customer. From beginning I wanted to show more professional side of design process, so I kept the pace and expectations high, so you could really feel hard work and certain amount of delivery pressure. In the end I was blown away with enthusiasm of students and their hard work defining concepts through all phases. I felt really proud of the students doing such a great job, well done!

My especial thanks to Juozas Brundza the director of industrial design faculty and his staff Ieva, lecturers Povilas, Denis and Deividas for making this workshop possible.
